The Public Comment Period for the proposed U.S. Sod Checkoff Program is NOW OPEN. It opened on October 16th, 2023 and will remain open for 60 days until December 15th, 2023. There are two separate links for public comment, both of which can be viewed on the home page of SodCheckoff.org or by clicking Read More below. The first link titled “Checkoff Public Comment Period” contains the full text of the proposal along with instructions for providing public comment on the program itself. The second link titled “Referendum Public Comment Period” is requesting industry feedback on the referendum procedures for how to conduct an industry-wide vote at a later date.

You can provide public comment on either or both of these announcements by following the instructions provided in each of these files.
