New sod grass installed in Olympic stadium in Greece has not developed root zone in new soil and has been over 45 days. The sod's soil is 3cm.
What should we do?
Here is the information from soil analysis:
1. Type of grass? The seed mixture of the turf is a lolium/ poa base; Lolium, applaude = 25%; Poa Pratensis, 2100 = 50%; Festuca arundinacea, rebel = 25%

2. How old was the sod when we harvested it? The turf was seeded x months before harvest and was harvested by big roll. 10 months old (seeding date 11-15-09)

3. How hot was the soil when it was planted 45 days ago? How hot was the day when it was installed it? The temp of the soil the day of the planting was approx. 25ºC and the air temp. was between 35-38ºC.

4. Has this problem occurred with other sod (thin or thick) around the same time the sod was installed at the stadium? NO

5. What is the daily average temperature now? The daily high is 22-24ºC and the night low at 0200 is 10ºC

6. Has it been done this type of sod installation before (3cm thick sod)? NO
